*Job description Primary Responsibilities Responsible for performing loan reviews of commercial and consumer loans. Assess risk factors inherent of commercial and consumer lending. Reviews include policy compliance, underwriting quality and risk assessment, risk rating confirmation and verification that appropriate loan documentation was obtained. Prepares appropriate reports and summary of findings. Experience/Skills Knowledge of all aspects of commercial and retail lending including corporate, construction, and private banking lending; loans secured by business assets, real property or personal assets; corporate and personal financial statement analysis, income and tax returns for businesses and corporations as well as loan documentation requirements, underwriting practices, credit risk and regulatory compliance Familiarity with deposit and loan operations (payments, payoffs, new accounts, wire transfers etc.) preferred; Requires experience utilizing automated tracking and CIF systems. Minimum of four year college degree with additional banking industry sponsored training is typical in this position. Requires extensive analytical, strong problem solving and communications skills. Requires a knowledge of state and federal compliance guidelines governing lending. Requires PC skills for utilization of various tracking systems
