*Job description This position is an excellent opportunity for a motivated accounts payable clerk to gain in-depth exposure and make a significant contribution to a successful accounts payable department. We are looking for an accounts payable specialist with 1-2 years experience. Suitable applicants will have experience coding, posting and paying invoices via a large, mainframe system such as SAP. You will also have performed reconciliations and posted entries to the G/L. In addition, you will have superior Excel skills and have strong interpersonal skills. Preference will be given to applicants with an accounting degree. Our client is a New York-based organization seeking to expand and strengthen their accounting team with the addition of bright and hard working accounts payable specialist. This position in temporary but does have permanent potential for the right person. The hourly rate is dependant upon the applicant's experience.
